Six services.
One team.
One run of show.
Inai Event Management runs the celebration layer of a Tamil Nadu wedding — emcee, photography, DJ, return gifts, entertainment stalls and gifting — from a single written schedule, under a single contract, with one person answerable at 19:00 when something changes.
“Most Tamil weddings do not fail on budget. They fail on timing — and the failure is visible to every guest at once.”
What we run
The six things guests actually experience
We are not a full wedding planner and do not pretend to be. Venue, decor and catering stay with your planner. We take the six services that decide whether the day feels effortless.
Emcee & Anchoring
The voice that holds the room together.
Explore →Photography & Film
Coverage planned around the ritual, not around the light.
Explore →DJ & Sound
Cued to the run of show, not to the crowd's patience.
Explore →Return Gifts
Counted correctly, delivered before the guests arrive.
Explore →Entertainment Stalls
Something for the three hours between arriving and eating.
Explore →Event Gifting
Gifting as a programme, not a last-minute purchase order.
Explore →The spine
One run of show, and every service cued to it
A worked example from a two-day Tamil kalyanam. Every time below is a cue that belongs to a named person before the day begins — not a hope.
Muhurtham time is illustrative — yours comes from your purohit, and everything else is planned backwards from it. Read the full hour-by-hour guide →
Where we differ
What the Tamil Nadu market does, and what we do instead
We looked hard at how these six services are actually sold in Chennai and across the state. Six structural gaps, and our answer to each.
| The decision | The market norm | Inai |
|---|---|---|
| How the wedding is bought | Six vendors found on six directory listings, each contracted separately, each with a different point of contact. | One contract, one point of contact, six services delivered by one team. |
| Who owns the timing | Nobody. The emcee has a note, the DJ has a request list, the photographer has a rough idea. Gaps appear and nobody is accountable for them. | One written run of show, agreed 72 hours ahead, that every Inai service works from — and one person answerable when it slips. |
| Language on the microphone | English-default anchoring imported from a metro template, or Tamil-only hosting that loses the travelling relatives. | Bilingual Tamil–English delivery, blended to your actual guest list, with a verified pronunciation list. |
| Guest time before dinner | Unplanned. An hour of standing in a stage queue with nothing to do. | Entertainment stalls planned from the arrival curve and floor plan, sized for the peak, positioned along the queue. |
| Return-gift quantities | Ordered against the invitation count. Shortfall at the reception, surplus in a car boot. | Modelled per function from your real guest list with a defined buffer, delivered against a signed count sheet. |
| Where the work happens | Chennai-centric vendors who treat the rest of Tamil Nadu as an afterthought, or district vendors with no metro-grade delivery discipline. | One standard across all ten major Tamil Nadu cities, with travel and stay quoted as visible line items. |
One run of show
Emcee, DJ, photography, stalls and gifting all work from a single written schedule agreed before the day. A cue change travels in one message, not four.
Bilingual by default
Tamil and English on the microphone, blended to your guest list — not an English template borrowed from another city.
Sized to the room
Sound specified from the venue's dimensions and limits. Stalls sized from the arrival curve. Gift quantities modelled from the real list.
One contract, one number
Six services, one agreement, one person accountable. You call one number when something changes at 19:00.
Written commitments
Named lead photographer, contractual delivery dates, do-not-play list, and a return position on surplus gifts — all in writing at booking.
All of Tamil Nadu
Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Salem, Tirunelveli, Erode, Vellore, Thanjavur and Tiruppur, to one standard.

Questions families ask before they call
What does Inai Event Management do?
Inai Event Management is a Chennai-based wedding and event company serving all of Tamil Nadu. We provide six services — emcee and anchoring, wedding photography and film, DJ and sound, return gifts, wedding entertainment stalls, and event and corporate gifting — delivered by one team working from a single written run of show.
What does the name Inai mean?
Inai is an acronym for the four things the company is built on: I for Ideas, N for Novelty, A for Artistry and I for Impression. In Tamil, inai also carries the sense of joining or pairing, which is the appropriate word for a wedding company.
Which cities in Tamil Nadu do you serve?
Chennai is our base. We also serve Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), Salem, Tirunelveli, Erode, Vellore, Thanjavur and Tiruppur, and the districts around each. Travel and stay for the crew are quoted as visible line items rather than hidden inside a package price.
Do we have to book all six services?
No. Any single service can be booked on its own. The advantage of combining them is coordination — when the emcee, DJ and photography team are all ours, the run of show is one internal document rather than a negotiation between strangers.
How do we get a quote?
Call or WhatsApp +91 98849 60870, or write to Egnitha@inaievents.in with your dates, city, venue and approximate guest count. We quote against your actual programme rather than from a published rate card, because a one-evening reception and a two-day kalyanam are not comparable jobs.
Why don't you publish prices on the website?
Because a published package price is almost always wrong for the wedding in front of us, and families end up paying for scope they do not need or discovering exclusions late. We quote line by line against your programme, so you can see what each element costs and remove what you do not want.
How far in advance should we book?
For peak Tamil muhurtham windows, eight to twelve weeks for emcee, photography and DJ, and four to six weeks for personalised return gifts and branded corporate gifting. Off-peak dates can often be confirmed considerably later.
What is a run of show, and why does it matter?
A run of show is a written, timed schedule of the event: every ritual, every announcement, every cue, who is responsible and what happens immediately before and after. At a Tamil wedding it is what prevents the two commonest failures — the silent gap and the unexplained wait. Inai shares it with the venue and every vendor 72 hours before the function.
Do you handle the whole wedding, including venue, decor and catering?
No, and deliberately. Inai runs the celebration layer — the six services that shape what guests actually experience. We coordinate closely with your venue, decorator and caterer, but we do not pretend to be a full wedding planner, because doing six things properly beats doing twelve adequately.
Can you work alongside our existing wedding planner?
Yes, and we frequently expect to. Our run of show is designed to slot into a planner's master schedule, and a planner generally welcomes six vendors arriving as one accountable team.

We come back with questions before we come back with a number. That is usually the point at which families realise the quote is going to match the wedding.
